Minimally Invasive Surgeries
David B. Mainman, MD has a particular interest and expertise in minimally invasive techniques in the office and the operating room. Many gynecologic problems once involved major surgery through large incisions, several days of hospitalization and many weeks of recovery. Today, our gynecologists correct most of these problems with no-incision in-office procedures or laparoscopic surgery either as an outpatient or with a brief hospital stay.
Unfortunately, many patients suffer needlessly with common but serious issues that can be corrected by minimally invasive techniques. These include:
- Pelvic pain
- Dyspareunia (pain with intimacy)
- Heavy, painful periods
